Broiler Sales Person

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Broiler Sales Person to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling broiler poultry products to various customers, including wholesalers, retailers, and distributors. This role requires excellent communication skills. It also demands strong negotiation abilities and a deep understanding of the poultry industry. These skills are necessary to effectively represent our brand and expand our customer base.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development: Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities in the broiler poultry market. Identify potential customers, distributors, and retailers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions.
  • Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets by effectively selling broiler poultry products and services.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of broiler poultry products. Know their quality and benefits. This will help you effectively communicate with clients and customers.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify sales opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Negotiation and Closing Sales: Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with customers and close sales to achieve revenue goals.
  • Order Management: Oversee the order process from receipt to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment of customer orders.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records. Update CRM systems regularly. Provide regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions to the Sales Manager.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support, ensuring that clients are satisfied with the product and services provided.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of sales experience in the poultry industry, with a focus on broilers or related products. Experience in sales of food products or agricultural goods is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build relationships and understand customer needs.
    • Knowledge of the broiler poultry market and products.
    • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to handle multiple accounts and tasks efficiently.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, on-site or field-based position (depending on company policy).
  • Occasional travel may be required to visit customers, suppliers, and attend trade shows or industry events.
  • Exposure to poultry farm environments and working with poultry products.
